Speakers Wanted

Do you fancy speaking at a Shropgeek event or would like to request a topic or someone specific? If so, we would like to hear from you.

Our Rebellion events are created with you in mind. Our aim is to provide the same calibre of talks as (R)Evolution but in a much less formal, more social environment. We also want it to be a safe environment for those people who have never presented before and fancy giving it a go, or have a big talk coming up and want to give it a trial run in front of a friendly audience that will give honest and helpful feedback.

So if thats you or you have an idea for someone we should approach then let us know!

You can contact us in a number of ways:

Topics don’t need to be web specific either, remember Chris Thorpe’s talk at (R)Evolution 2013? or Nick Blenkarn and Nigel Moore talking about laser scanning and reusing 3D data at the September 2013 Rebellion? Or maybe Rob May discussing colour at the first Rebellion in February 2013? All of these were fantastic and proved there is an interest in topics from a broader subject base than just the web industry.

We’re always open to new ideas and what makes Shropgeek so special is that its community driven. We create events for you, therefore, we want your input to help shape them  into events that you really want to attend.
